Investment Process

Investment Strategy

Maja Equity Partners invests in companies that demonstrate sound business practices, proven management teams, and significant untapped potential. We have four primary areas of focus: develop healthcare companies that deliver advances in cost-effective care to new and existing populations, demonstrate the potential for strong organic revenue growth, and display both attractive margins and high returns on capital. A suitable business model paired with a successful business team is the most important investment criterion for Maja Equity.

We collaborate with exceptional management teams to build and operate businesses for the long-term.

When evaluating companies, we explore the following characteristics:

  • Effective Management Team
  • Strong organic revenue growth
  • Attractive EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) margins
  • Returns that are driven by business performance, not purely financial leverage
  • An optimal balance of aggressive growth strategies and effective risk management
  • Positive correlation with trends in health care policy, technology, and demographics
